| Il Trullino offers accommodation
sleeping a maximum of nine people. This lovely
recently-restored trullo is located in the famous
Itria Valley, at the heart of the lovely southern
Italian region of Puglia. The area is rural and peaceful, yet
within a short distance of the facilities and
sights of Cisternino, Martina Franca, Ostuni and
Ceglie Messapica. The capital of the trulli,
Alberobello, Locorotondo, the superb caves of
Castellana Grotte, and Fasano with its safari
park, are all within easy reach. The Adriatic
coast is about 20 minutes away, and the beaches
of the Ionian coast just a bit further away, but
of course the property has its good-sized own
private pool.
The property has
grounds extending to about 2 1/2 acres, and
enjoys privacy. It is in two separate parts, the
trullo itself and an attractive stone-built
annexe.
The rental
accommodation consists of :
The Trullo

Entrance to dining room with kitchen off, and
sliding doors leading to a small single bedroom.
Through to lounge area with TV and separate
entrance, with bathroom off.
Doors through to sitting area and double bedroom.
The central lounge area has a
"French-size" divan converting to a bed
best described as accommodating 1 1/2 people!
The trullo is stylishly decorated.
The Annexe.
A separate stone-built annexe consists of two
bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin - each with wardrobe
space and washbasin, plus a central bathroom.
The delightful stepped swimming pool is located
in front of the trullo,in the garden area. An eye
can be kept on the pool from inside the trullo.
Behind the trullo there is a further attractive
area with fruit trees and olives extending to
around 4,000 sq m of land.
Facilities.
Depending on
bookings, part-week stays or weekly stays
starting other than on Saturdays can be arranged.
Included in the
price is weekly cleaning, towels and bedlinen.
The property is
provided with washing machine, dishwasher, modern
kitchen appliances etc, and outside there is
adequate seating, plus sun loungers and umbrella
by the pool, plus a barbecue for your use.
Air-conditioning
in both the annexe and the trullo.
A welcome pack is
provided on arrival, and an English set of useful
instructions and guide to services, plus
information on the local area, is available.
An
English-speaking contact who lives locally can be
on hand if needs be, and in any event will be in
touch during your stay to ensure that things are
running smoothly for you.

I cant recommend this wonderful trulli highly
enough. The internal
photos certainly dont do the property justice.
Perfectly located in a beautifully peaceful rural
location but only an 8
min drive to Cisternino. At the rear of the
property there is an orchard
with 98 trees all heavily laden with fruit whilst
we were there at the
end of August. In the garden a table under a
large fig tree and an
awning provided not only fruit for breakfast but
also relief from the
sun and a shady spot for an afternoon nap .
Our 4 year old daughter had to be dragged out of
the pool kicking and
screaming as she wanted to spend all day and
every day there. My husband
had great fun playing golf on the nearby courses.
I loved exploring the
local markets and wonderful restaurants in the
surrounding area.
Finally from my first enquiry regarding
availability the service we
received was exemplary. My questions were
answered in detail clearly
using in depth local knowledge. A truly 5 star
service and property to
match. "
